The McGuire Entrepreneurship Program fulfills the experiential learning requirement of Eller MBA programs. MBA students may participate in the McGuire Program as part of the MBA entrepreneurship concentration or as a two-course elective.
MBA students must participate in the McGuire Program during their last year of MBA studies. The application deadline is in December of your first year of MBA classes for participation the following fall.
No matter your planned career path, an education from the McGuire Program will give you the skills in innovation and entrepreneurship necessary to launch a business, commercialize technology, build products and services within established companies, and apply innovative solutions to complex, real-world problems.
MBA students must participate in the McGuire Program during their final year of MBA study. The application deadline is in December of your first year of MBA classes for participation in the McGuire Program the following fall. MBA students must apply to the MBA and McGuire programs separately.
MBA students take the classes below as part of the McGuire Program. Those interested in receiving an Entrepreneurship Concentration upon completion of the program must take all three courses. Alternatively, students can take the Venture Development I and II courses as electives. Please note that students interested in taking the courses as electives must take both classes in order, and are still required to apply to the McGuire Program.
